They negotiated permanent peace when they gave up their nukes decades ago. How did that work out? This failed negotiation pretty much proves the war is not really about land. Its about a permanent peace. Two different things. Putin/Russia is not willing to do permanent peace. Therefore, I can't think of any reason the Ukrainian people should negotiate something where a permanent peace is not included.
The Russian nation. By army, I am including economic and the nation's will to fight. They are the aggressor. Much harder to sustain.Which army you reckon is more susceptible to exhaustion?
The best argument I’ve seen is we give Ukraine the Tomahawks etc and they take out Russia’s energy infrastructure. That would reset the dynamic, especially domestically in Russia.
A Vietnam/Afghanistan quagmire that will continue to drain Russia's military and economic resources and ultimately wind up in a Russian defeat such as their loss in Afghanistan?Because they can’t win the land back and Putin won’t negotiate it away. So what’s left?
HA!!!!!!! I suspect you may have observed the real motivation behind Trump's desire to make peace. Most people think its because he's obsessed with the peace prize. Well that's a side benefit. Kushner, and Witkoff (Trump's crypto buddy) being there can only point to one thing. Trump is expecting a massive crypto purchase into his crypto account if he somehow gives Putin Ukraine.WTF is Kushner doing sitting at the big boys’ table?
Good analogy. I wish we had responded more strongly when they took Crimea.A Vietnam/Afghanistan quagmire that will continue to drain Russia's military and economic resources and ultimately wind up in a Russian defeat such as their loss in Afghanistan?
