I usually do well with vaccines but got the first shingles shot yesterday at my physical and it knocked me on my ass. Still better than having shingles, though.

My husband had the same experience with the shingles vaccine — and he rarely has vaccine issues.

I had no issues with it but COVID vaccine made me dizzy first three times.
 
I had shingles back in the mid 1990s. Knocked me out of work two weeks, went back to work for a week, then back out another week. Got the vaccine series a few years ago without problem.
 
With COVID I feel a little light headed for about 12 hours starting about 8 hours after the shot. Not too bad but I don't want to drive - so I try to schedule that for Friday afternoon then I can mostly just sleep it off.

Shingles particularly dose 2 was bad for about 24 hours.
 
I experienced Shingles in 2020 (1st spring of covid) and the MD told me diagnosis/occurrence of Shingles was off the charts, due to stress of the pandemic.

No shot yet due to threads like this ;)
 
I was going to get the vaccine then couldn't because of a suppressed immune system for a while. Ended up with shingles about three years ago. Had a fairly mild case that bugged me for a month. Since the recurrence rate after having shingles is about the same as the chance of getting it after the vaccine, I haven't bothered with the vaccine.

My husband had shingles prior to getting the vaccine. Definitely preferred the 24-hour reaction to actual shingles.
 
I must be Superman !

I have had no side effects from my Shingles, Covid, or Flu vaccines and looking forward to getting another Covid and flu vaccine in the next month or two:)

Notwithstanding RFK, Jr I haven't noticed any symptoms of autism over the last few years.

I have checked with the missus to see if she has noticed any symptoms. She said that the only one she has noticed is my repetitive behavior of posting on this board.

Ask her if she's rather you talk to her. My wife got real interested in her TV shows when that conversation came up.

My wife would probably make a sizable donation to Rock to make sure I'm occupied here instead of talking to her! This is especially an issue since I retired. I traveled 30+% of the time when I was working so she had plenty of alone time. Now that I'm home all the time she has taken to watching her shows on her computer with her headphones on.
