Virtually all of Trump 2.0 appointees are loathsome people, but in terms of appearances Patel looks the most hilariously miscast. Watching him cosplay being a tough, macho, intimidating FBI Director has provided some of the few laughs in this otherwise depressing, grim, woefully incompetent, and malevolent administration. No doubt he's been a nightmare for the professionals working under him, though. I suspect that he will be one of the first that Trump dumps overboard, as he simply doesn't "look" the part (which is all that Trump cares about) and so he'll get the knife at some point.

Many posters here have been saying this for awhile, but posting insanity like this goes beyond mere typical GOP projection onto Democrats. This is just another sign that Trump has lost all touch with reality and has now gotten what he's always wanted politically - almost unchecked power and he's also living in a bubble isolated from reality by the boot-lickers and butt kissers that he's completely surrounded himself with. Hard to see how this ends in anything other than an epic disaster at some point, either here at home or with some foreign crisis.
