So, I've read that Spotify is soliciting for ICE and that the leadership is very pro maga.

You know what that means...
Time to explore other options.

Anyone here have recommendations?
I really like podcast so what ever I choose has to have a good assessment of those. It also needs to be accessible from Apple and Android platforms.

Or am I basing my choice on potential misinformation?

I’ve always used Apple Music. Love it.
 
We currently have the Pandora Premium Family subscription. We used the free Pandora forever and upgraded the subscription 6-7 years ago to get the ads to stop.
 
Good topic. I’m subscribed at Amazon Prime, Spotify, YouTube, Netflix and HBO Max. Trying to consolidate. Does Apple have a comprehensive plan?

apple one is their service that includes apple music and apple tv.

but all of the various subscription services have exclusive content that the others don't have, so be sure to keep that in mind when deciding what to keep and dump.

i rotate some combination of netflix, apple tv, showtime and hbo and then cancel after i finish with whatever it is that i wanted to watch. its easy to just suscribe again when they have new or added content that you want to see.

Thanks. With the help of ChatGTP I have determined that the best way for me is to cancel Spotify and replace with Apple One Family plan. Same cost with more content.

I just need the consent of the family members 🫤

If I am paying for Apple TV, does that mean I automatically have Apple Music?

no. they're different subscriptions / services. but if you get apple one, you get both. you should definitely look into it if you really like apple TV and also want a music streaming service.
 
I use Spotify. The only negative about them is Garth Brooks isn't on there.
 
How's the selection of podcasts on Apple or Amazon Music?

Anyone use audible?

And get a decent turntable and borrow albums from your grandparents and listen to real music. Get your podcasts from Youtube.

At this point in time it’s a fine line to walk. Luddite vs. tech nerd.
 
Apple Music has the best algorithm but we use Prime Music. It’s cheap with Amazon Prime but not great at finding new music for you.
