Yep, not even close either. We were paying $1650/month in the Triangle 3-4 years ago. I can only assume the cost has increased substantially since then.
It's been 12ish years since I last paid for daycare and it was over 2350/mo for 2 with a 5% sibling discount.

As a father of two, I have two money issues that cause me stress.
Healthcare and education.
Two things the GOP has no interest in fixing.
"No interest in fixing" and intent on breaking what little we have in healthcare and education. GOP is a political outhouse... smelling worse everyday.

They would be happy to fix everything on this list... except "you people", would consider it impolite to exclude all non-white people from the services.
That and fact that benefits for the rest of us cost billionaires and big biz tax dollars. They want it all !!

I think North Carolina students can take classes at community/technical colleges tuition free while in high school.

It’s possible to graduate from a North Carolina high school with an associate’s degree from a NC Community/Technical college.
You are correct! Both of my kids had associates degrees when they graduated high school. Paid for 3.5 years of college for one and 3 for the other. HUGE savings for us.

No one is having a baby to get this. This is beyond stupid. It’s just a giveaway to folks who are already going to have kids.

Pffffft, like billionaires pay taxes...
Not enough, for sure. But big biz pays big dollars as payroll taxes...fed, state, local. So far they haven't been able to avoid that cost. They are working on it. Another fed tax in big biz sights is FDIC.
