The Taylor Swift Eras Tour I has ended after 149 sold out shows.

The Taylor Swift Eras Tour has ended after 149 sold out shows.

Love, hate, or indifferent this tour was an unprecedented undertaking that stands alone as a money maker (2 billion) and pop culture phenomenon.

At some point Swift became a polarizing and controversial figure. This seems strange to me given how inoffensive she is as an artist and person in general.

It was reported today that she gave 197 million in bonuses to her staff and crew over the course of this tour.

I attended one of the earlier Era shows with my, at the time, 20 year old daughter(who has loved TS since she was 6 or 7) in June of 2023. I’ve been to a lot of shows but I can sincerely say that this show was the best production with the most engaged audience of any event I’ve ever attended.

I also turned four $141 tickets to a show this fall into $6000.

BTW, it’s okay to admit you like Taylor Swift.

I don't have any issues with TS at all but the media coverage during the Chiefs football games made me want to spit up my dinner every time they showed her.

Why?

She’s bland and inoffensive.
Wasn't her. It was the constant media showing her. I want to see the game. I got to watch TS enter the stadium, drink her alcohol, celebrate TD's, etc. Got sick of it.

You pay A LOT of attention to the TV during dead ball situations.

That’s on you.

You’re a TV advertiser’s dream.

Respect.
