If it makes you feel any better, in Greensboro this was basically the worst kind of snow: enough to make the roads dangerous and cause lots of wrecks and cause the schools to close, but not nearly enough to play in or look pretty.
 
Got a dusting last night in Denver NC area (about 20 miles north of CLT)
 
Sounds like the tsunami would hit in next 30-40 minutes (but there is not confirmation one is definitely incoming)

Eureka always gets the worst of the tsunamis on the West Coast because of its weird topography.
 
Warming up this week, raining, and then getting cold again. Can't ever get the precip and cold to match up for snow.
