I don't use sXitter so can't see the comments. On a scale of 1 to Carolina football, how big of a dumpster fire is it?
Hurricane Milton?

Or the Trumplican poasts all over XShitter and social media?

Carolina Football under John Bunting regarding Hurricane Milton (anyone aside from me having a hard time picturing “Milton” as a big badass MOFO?).

Trumplican poasts about Helene, Milton, etc. Same shit, different day.

I know this is serious, of course, and Tampa is in real trouble (even if it "collapses" into a Cat 3, that's pretty damn bad - just a bit weaker than Hugo)

But Florida also has a reputation

Not as bad as you might assume. Spann is a weatherman fixture in Alabama but he is also a climate change skeptic. He is getting some push-back but is also likely getting a pass from the lunatics who know he has been a key spokesman for climate change skepticism, especially for older people in the area.

But the majority of responses are thanking him and decrying the need for him to make such a request.

Meteorologist Matthew East just posted this on Facebook.

8:30am Tuesday: Looking at #Milton this morning, I think it has a good chance to strengthen again today. It has completed an eyewall replacement cycle and conditions are favorable for the next 24 hours or so. Think it could achieve Cat 5 again before weakening on its approach to Florida.
