He's so full of shit he doesn't know if he's coming or going. The only good things about his two miserable terms as a Senator is that he's leaving next year, and that by holding the seat he likely kept an even crazier Trumper loon from holding it. And that's it. The first thing I always think of whenever his name pops up is a comment he made right after first being elected in 2014. He said that we probably didn't need the government requiring that restaurant other food workers always wash their hands because if they didn't restaurants could just place a sign saying that their workers didn't wash their hands and that the "free market" would basically ensure that workers washed their hands. (Who was going to make them post signs saying their workers didn't always wash their hands?). And he's one of the more sane and stable Republicans these days, and he's being ridden out of DC on a rail for daring to defy Dear Leader and because they're hoping an even more far-right wacko and Trump loyalist can take his place.
