Women who walk 20 yards across the border to give birth (aka anchor babies) and "birth tourists".What constitutes misuse?
Rancho Cucamonga Man and Woman Found Guilty of Federal Criminal Charges in Connection with ‘Birth Tourism’ Scheme
Two San Bernardino County residents were found guilty by a jury today of operating a “birth tourism” scheme that charged Chinese clients tens of thousands of dollars to help them give birth in the United States to obtain birthright U.S. citizenship for their children.
That's what I'd like to see changed. If those two situations for within our requirements for citizenship, I'd say the requirements need to be changed. Is there some obligation of American citizenship they don't live up to that hurts us?
I don't think it matters how wide spread it is.How wide spread and damaging is this that we would make such a fundamental change in our traditions?
I don't really see addressing people who are intentionally gaming the system as "throwing out the baby with the bathwater". Do you?Are there maybe lesser approaches or is throwing the baby out with the bathwater a new Republican Games event?
