I don't dismiss them, but at this point it's clear it isn't simple ignorance, there is far too much information for them to still be ignorant, they have to be stupid. Or just simply don't care about anything and vote for the "R" for some absurd reason.

I believe your last sentence is absolutely correct. Sure, I know you can never overestimate the public's stupidity, but damn, there is no way 78M people could be so damn dumb. No, I think they are willfully ignorant, blatenly overlooking his massive character flaws and stupidity because they can't admit they were wrong and they can't bring themselves to vote for a D, making excuse after excuse after excuse. Politics is the new religion.

Well, here we are. It’s a couple days before I start the annual weekend treks to chapel hill on home football weekends.
I know some of you may look down on me for what I’m going to say now, but the friend I travel to the games with is a MAGA Trump follower. So, I’m going to address this right away with him. I am going to say, given that it will be a long fall, we can either discuss these topics in a respectful way hearing both sides, or we can agree to not talk about it at all. I know that he will want to discuss it, and the good thing is he tends not to go beyond his echo chamber in terms of facts.
I say all this to say, you ALL have done yeomans work on providing truth and facts behind the fallacies of the Trump world. I already know I’m going to use a ton of CFord’s facts from the immigration thread. But along the way, there may be things that I may ask for because I can’t find or remember where it was posted. Wish me luck.

Donald Trump and his progeny have been touting a new crypto project that they claim will bring newfound economic power to “the people.” However, a new report claims that instead of doing that, it may—much like Trump’s economic plan for a second presidential term—actually do the opposite, and deliver a majority of the financial spoils to a small coterie of privileged insiders.
Trump’s project, dubbed World Liberty Financial, is a new crypto lending platform built on the Ethereum blockchain that backers claim will make finance more accessible to everyday people.
However, Coindesk recently got its hands on the project’s white paper and found that 70 percent of the project’s “governance” crypto tokens—known as WLT—would be “held by the founders, team, and service providers.” Meanwhile, a mere 30 percent of said tokens would be distributed to members of the public via a public sale.
