Trump says he is going to "lead a movement" to get rid of voting machines and mail-in tabulators for elections. Hand count, I guess? Then the counting won't be complete when it's supposed to be, and Trump will say, "the elections are chaos and tremendous fraud is going on" and that's going to be his excuse for martial law.

He's mocking you to your face, Mr. Chief Justice. He's cutting off your balls. 10th Amendment? What 10th Amendment? Separation of powers? What's that mean except more and more power for me? All that shit you normally pretend to care about, Mr. Chief Justice, has been picked up off the ground, rolled in sewage and baked into a pie with poison ivy. He's throwing it in your face. He knows you will buckle. The only men weaker than him are the ones who defer.

You know, the more Trump talks about election rigging, the more I'm starting to think there was tremendous fraud happening right under our noses in the 2024 election (in Trump's favor, of course). Say, did we ever find out what "little secret" Trump was referring to when he winked at Elon during that speech?
Also, doesn't Trump recognize that this would be quite stupid, as a large number of his supporters are mail-in voters because they're too fat, weasy and immobile to get to the polls?

2016 as well. Trump generally doesn't whine about shit unless he's doing it himself and is trying to deflect. And there's nothing he's whined about more than election fraud, including in 2016. It's a dead giveaway...
It is stupid. But that’s never stopped him before.

Like I said, back to the malicious and evil after being clowned in Alaska.
In his first term he hired the incredibly competent KKKris Kobach to find all the voter fraud so he would have pretense for doing this. He no longer needs proof of any claims, just say X is a problem and do whatever shady/illegal shit necessary to grab power.
Republicans have allowed all this to happen. Not a drop of morality or empathy in that lot.
It’s only going to continue to get worse.

The main thing that has saved Trump from defamation claims over the years, while his subordinates and media flunkies have been nailed with massive judgments and settlements, is that whether by design or idiosyncrasy he's always lying about groups of people that are too large or vague to make him subject to defamation claims. It's the genius (intentional or unintentional) of Trump's lying - he's basically realized that there's a weak spot in American law where you can get in trouble if you lie about specific people but when you just make your lies bigger, more sweeping, and more grandiose it's really hard to do anything about them from a legal perspective.
