Trump v Elon: Will their battles become legend?

I doubt it'll be good. It'll be as stupid as the participants while I doubt it actually hurts passage of the bill.
GOP has no choice but to pass some version of the bill, and maybe they will do something to smooth things over with Musk. By I admit I am petty enough to enjoy the sniping while it lasts between two political figures I deeply dislike.

Waiting to hear Trump speculate about irregularities in Elon’s path to becoming a US citizen. Possibly demand to see Elon’s longform student visa.
Musk has a lot of resources but he should consider the levers Trump could pull … government contacts, IRS audits and worse … just look at Trump’s battle with Harvard, he has shown he has zero concerns about abusing power on personal vendettas.

On the other hand Elon controls the algorithm, could potentially impact the crypto world and knows the President is the TACO man.

Get ready everybody. Nobody knows how far we can go in debt before we hit the wall, but I am about 100% convinced that we are going to find out. Spend, spend, spend. Open up borders and allow in millions of additional people who need government support. No strong requirements forced on the current and perpetual abusers of our current social services system. Blow money all around the world that does nothing to actually help America.

If accurate history is written, the people who have been in control of this country for the last 65 years will be some of the most hated people for what they were handed and what the chose to do with it.

“… By Thursday afternoon, Mr. Musk was floating leaving the Republican Party to form a new entity. Mr. Trump, for his part, was accusing him of “Trump derangement syndrome.”

Mr. Musk had been careful in recent days to train his ire on Republicans in Congress, not Mr. Trump himself. But he discarded that caution on Thursday, ridiculing the president in a pattern familiar to the many previous Trump advisers who have fallen out of favor….”

I think this is awesome.

They are both lying their asses off about everything. At any one time, one of them has to be correct because law of the excluded middle (and they post in binaries), but only by chance and usually only by replying to the others' bullshit.

It reminds me of this:
