GT got what they deserve for bringing in McKee there.

I don't even understand why coaches do this. I swear it backfires more often than not because the arm hasn't had sufficient time to recover - the command isn't there, fastball velocity is down, breaking stuff isn't as sharp, etc.
Didn’t bring in Patel yesterday up 8-1 when their starter got in trouble in the 4th and they gave up 13 straight. Now decided to bring him in in the 2nd today with a goal of finish the game and he wasn’t close to stretched out enough for that

USC's top 3 starting pitchers look like
  • Mason Edwards: 8-0, 1.85 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, Opp BA .153
  • Grant Govel: 10-2, 2.96 ERA, 0.87 WHIP, Opp BA .199
  • Andrew Johnson: 7-2, 3.46 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, Opp BA .238

Pretty good stats, especially WHIPs

I believe I said when we played Georgia Tech earlier in the season that the management of their pitching staff was criminal or something close. I stand by that observation.

How difficult would it be for you to rephrase that as "I hope we beat the 12 time National Champions. Prove me right, Mack Brown Jr.!"? Well, I guess as difficult as becoming a completely different non-asshole of an ostensible Carolina fan...

Either a chronic reverse jinxer, Eyore mentality, or message board instigator. Could be a combination.

It’s always a crapshoot, but things are shaping up nicely for us with GT and UCLA gone along with several other seeded teams. I don’t know what anybody sees in Auburn (with me saying that they’ll of course win the national championship eliminating us along the way). UGA and TX are good, but we can win a three game series against them if our pitching can hold. Alabama can be dangerous, but after that there’s a pretty large drop off.

USC's game on Monday ended after midnight. Curious, does the team fly back to LA only to get on a plane on Wednesday or Thursday to fly to CH? I guess they're used to it playing in the BIG.

If i could buy James Ramsey for what he was worth and sell him for what he thought he was worth, Id retire tomorrow
