I was alive, but it was before I have any memory of it.

I just want to get to scream and yell and be excited and buy a Carolina Football shirt that says ACC CHAMPIONS on it.
 
247 is reporting that the heavy expectation is that Freddie Kitchens will be named OC.

I think this might end the Belichick honeymoon for a chunk of IC.

having belichek jr as coach in waiting is a good thing. it means bill will have incentive to do a great job and not just mail it in.

i think at this point, its probably a good idea for message board posters to stfu and trust the best nfl coach in a very long time to do his job. i mean, seriously.

Remember Belichick is the guy who chose Matt Patricia (a defensive coach) as OC in New England in his last years there.
 
I want to walk that back some. Article is actually a writer speculating. My bad. But I am confident Saban was involved in conversation. Also has not been announced so we will see.
 
UNC is expected to hire Matt Lombardi as an offensive assistant - potential QB (assistant) coach. He was/is currently at Oregon.
 
Ftr, Iā€™m fine with all of this. Weā€™ve been drowning in mediocrity my entire life. Iā€™ve watched us try almost everything to put up a competitive, feared program, only to see it wither and die every single time. I get that a direction change of this magnitude may make a lot of you uneasy, ditching the proverbial ā€œCarolina Wayā€ in favor of an ash and rubble nuclear approach. But hot damn, the guy is a 6-time Super Bowl winning coach. Brady or not, you donā€™t just luck into that. He knows a thing or two about building a football dynasty. Iā€™m quite content giving him the floor. Iā€™m optimistic that high school studs with NFL dreams want to play for him. Iā€™m elated about UNC aiming to become Nikeā€™s Oregon East, and a ā€œpipeline to the NFL.ā€ If college is intended to pave the way to kidsā€™ careers, why shouldnā€™t a serious football program be run like an NFL organization?

I also looked up his sonā€™s credentials. Heā€™s built a pretty dang good defense at Washington. Much better than any recent Carolina defense I can remember, at least since the 90s Dre Bly squad era. Iā€™m with Steve.

Saban considered hiring Kitchens at one point? Belichick now wants him as OC? Two of the greatest football coaches ever to coach the game? Thatā€™s all I need to know. Iā€™m all in. LFG.
 
Belichick's going to get all the credit, and he will deserve a lot of it, but that nil money that he got the alumni to commit to is going to be a big part of his success if it happens.

SEC Champs sound better and if ESPN would help they could make that happen

And who is responsible for getting the alums to commit to all of that NIL money?
