No ACC teams should ever be ranked in the top 10 in rhe NIL era because no ACC team is capable of being one of the 10 best teams in the country in the NIL era
But teams like Indiana, Illinois and Vanderbilt are somehow better now. Doesn't make sense how those teams can be better than ACC teams, including UNC, but they are.

big10 really just the big1. Indiana good but cig will be just another hot coach who gets a huge payday in a couple of yrs after getting fired. illini sucks. vandy would prob win acc

1. I respect that the team has shown up to play each of the last 3 weeks. Honestly thought that they were going to roll over and quit after the Clemson game/all of the fallout the following week, so credit to the players and staff for keeping their heads. I thoroughly enjoyed finally watching them get into the win column on Friday.

2. Big picture, we are 3-5 with our only wins being against 1 of the bottom 3 teams in all of FBS, an FCS team, and a perennial ACC basement dweller with no QB. 2 moral victory Ls and 1 win against said basement dweller in the last 3 weeks isn’t nearly enough to change my overall feelings about Belichick. We have a very poorly constructed roster (yes, even factoring in the excuse about the timing of the hire) and no evidence that suggests that the person responsible for putting the roster together will be held accountable for it or magically figure out how to get better at it for this upcoming offseason.

I think at minimum we need to beat Stanford and find a way to get 2 out of 3 against Wake, Duke, and State to make a bowl game for me to have any optimism moving forward.

Sure it does. Have you not paid attention to the conference payouts for the last many years? The BIG and SEC spend more on parking control for one home game than most ACC schools spend for their annual operating budget. They ooze money in every aspect and it is paying off.

Its nearly a $60 Million gap just in the last 3 years.

I mean there is no reason a school like UNC can't be good in football, too. But bad personnel decisions and being in the ACC has killed them.
