No it didn’t.The ACC died decades ago.
They are for at least one season. Not saying that is good. It's basically a pro league now with no rules on trades and free agents. They are Tar Heels lmao
I actually soured on the ACC when they added Louisville, Syracuse, BC, Pitt and Notre Dame. That was the beginning of the decline for me.No it didn’t.
Like a gifted student in a spelling bee.I think this team has potential.
But West Virginia didn’t make nearly as much sense in terms of acquiring a new TV market. And Louisville at least has a very good basketball program.I gave up on the ACC with the desperation exhibited when they succumbed to serving as Notre Dame’s side piece, after the Big Ten had spent years telling ND to join in full or eat shit.
I walked away entirely when they admitted a third tier school like Louisville simply because their athletic program was flush with Papa John’s money. If they were going to invite an institution of such low caliber, West Virginia at least made more sense geographically.
By the time they admitted Cal and Stanford I had zero fucks left to give.
Squabbling over the relative merits of wvu vs UL is the kind of conversation that demonstrates the demise of a once-great college conference. And Tar Heel fans: it’s mostly our fault. But West Virginia didn’t make nearly as much sense in terms of acquiring a new TV market. And Louisville at least has a very good basketball program.
With West Virginia, you get tiny TV markets and generally mediocre revenue sports.

Nah, you good.
Now I'm concerned I spelled something wrong....
It’s a very interesting team.Samodurov (sp.?) makes me much more optimistic about next year's team. I still feel like we are too thin on the interior, but we have three starter caliber bigs, and hopefully a serviceable reserve center in Bennerman. And at least one Avadalas and Maximo can hopefully play some at the four, as needed.
I don't think scoring is going to be much of a concern. Stevenson is in an ideal position to do what he does best offensively - not force things, and let the game come to him. It’s a very interesting team.
Maximo is more of a 4 than Avadalas. I'd expect Maximo and Sam to compete for the primary backup spot at the 4.Samodurov (sp.?) makes me much more optimistic about next year's team.
