US destroyed Venezuelan vessel | Pentagon focus on Latin America

Isolationism has always worked well for the economic prosperity and safety of Americans*. Always**.

* I don't believe this.
** Hyperbole

The fact that anyone can think this sort of thing is not only OK but desirable is largely a product of the deliberate and systematic demonization of drugs, drug users and, esp. drug "dealers." Of course if someone set off a bomb at a Philip Morris cigarette manufacturing plant or a brewery or distillery, it would be considered an act of terrorism. But when it's foreigners and "drugs," (it hardly matters what kind of drugs) it's perfectly acceptable and even desirable. One more reason all drugs should be legalized...
It's right out of the Duterte playbook. And once they have normalized summary execution of drug dealers, they are going to start doing the same in the US.

Anyone who can't see that the militarization of American cities is connected to this escalation re: Venezuela is either blind or willfully not paying attention.

Trump wants to boil us like frogs until we live in a military police state. I mean, what's next? Ruling a country with an iron fist? Does anyone think that's a good thing? Oh.

Imagine actually believing that the best and highest use of the military is killing non-combatants without due process.

Hey military folks, they hate you. They demean you constantly. They impugn your honor. Is that how you want the world to think of you? As people whose goal is wantonly killing non-combatants? They make a mockery of your service, always.

I still have my mom's old selectric typewriter. My penmanship is atrocious, so I sometimes type short personal notes on the selectric. I know that personal notes should be handwritten, but typing one on the selectric seems enough of a quaint throwback to the days of yore to make it alright. Not sure what I'm going to do when the ribbon runs out although I guess if you can get ketamine and DMT on the internet, I should be able to find a selectric typewriter ribbon somewhere...

Lol...the amount of self own in this post is beyond belief.

When you get a chance, check out the fact that Puerto Rico is the United States and maybe you'll understand.
Yes... I said "zero" for a reason. Venezuela isn't going to go to war with the US, no country is going to fight the US on Venezuela's behalf and Puerto Rico's military is the US military.
