It may also be because the NYT got pilloried for noting that Hegseth thanked our boys flying B2 bombers when there are also female B2 pilots.
That would actually make the most sense. I doubt that's what the writer was thinking or she would have pointed it out but I guess it's possible.

  • G-Tolerance: Contrary to stereotypes, some women have comparable or even higher tolerance to gravitational forces (G-forces), especially due to typically lower body mass in the lower extremities, which may aid blood retention in the brain during high-G maneuvers.
  • Smaller Body Size: In tight cockpit environments, a smaller frame can offer ergonomic advantages and better fit with gear and seating.
from chatgpt, no time to look up what i recalled reading, other reasons as well that make women good pilots.

Using the F word on live TV Guy is becoming unglued..........
Its pretty easy to spot when he becomes unglued, and I don't think the F word by itself was it. I kinda think his victories are so rare, that when he goes to bed thinking he has a victory (that's all his, that he can brag about) only to wake up the next morning and finds that things are not so simple.........that he loses it.

Oh my. This isn't turning out too well for Trump. He can't even fix the mess he made back in 2018 with the pullout from the Treaty with Iran.

Regime change now on Trump's menu?

“… None of the political experts I spoke with in past days said they thought President Trump planned the Iran bombing for his domestic agenda — that would be really extreme. But most shared Levitsky’s concern that it is in moments of anxiety, when society is apprehensive of external threats, that authoritarians find the most fertile ground for increasing their domestic power — because too often, people willingly give up freedoms in exchange for perceived safety.

Hiroshi Motomura, a UCLA law professor who advised the Obama-Biden transition team on immigration policy, said that trade-off means “the situation with Iran and Trump’s immigration policy are very closely intertwined.”…”

The problem is that the people have to actually feel threatened by external events. I am not sure that that is the case here. This isn’t 9/11.

Do you put it past trump et al. to pull a Bibi and ignore October 7th level intel? Or, have intentionally created a system of incompetence? I certainly don't.

Keep in mind, there are still Marines deployed in LA. While the pretext for deployment was utterly ridiculous, the continued deployment is closer to occupation than peacekeeping, as there haven't been protests of any size for weeks.

Trump and Miller want martial law. They want hegemonic violence purely for the sake. No time is easier to dominate than when people perceive an external threat, and subsequently cede their rights for the perception of safety. I genuinely believe this president and his Adolf Eichmann want a terror attack.

I believe I've read that women pilots can withstand greater g forces when flying.

Yes, that LA deployment has already cost over $100M. How's that for cost savings, efficiency, and reducing deficits?

His minions are morons or morans which ever you like.

He looses a lot, or as Ramrouser calls it, winning.

I think that it's all about winning a Nobel Peace Prize and he see's that slipping from his grasp since the cease fire has been violated.

Likely Inaccurate.

"Unpaired t-tests revealed no significant difference between the women and men in either relaxed or straining G tolerance."

I could watch those videos (and there are a shocking number of them) all day. Unless they're from my team.
I think there is an optical illusion with the goal line. When you are eyes are focused on the horizon, it looks like you are in the endzone before you are.

In little league football, I picked up a fumble at midfield and raced to the endzone. I was tackled at the three yard line because I slowed up once I passed the five. So I 've always had a soft spot for these mistakes. Good rule of thumb is to run your ass off (with the ball) until you are past the back line of the endzone.
