This predates the ceasefire, so assuming the ceasefire holds, we’ll see how this evolves.
“… Americans disapprove of the strikes, 56% to 44%, according to the survey, with strong disapproval outpacing the share who strongly approve. Most distrust Trump’s decision-making on the use of force in Iran, with about 6 in 10 worried that the strikes will increase the Iranian threat to the US.
… Majorities of independents (60%) and Democrats (88%) disapprove of the decision to take military action in Iran. Republicans largely approve (82%). But just 44% of Republicans strongly approve of the airstrikes, far smaller than the group of Democrats who strongly disapprove (60%), perhaps reflecting that some in Trump’s coalition are broadly distrustful of military action abroad.…”
Trump 2.0 TV: Our Little War... after last week's humiliating episode.A temporary ceasefire between Israel and Iran firing missiles at each other is not peace or an end to conflict. Not even close. Before Trumpites sprain their shoulders high-fiving and patting each other on the back, let's see if there is any real progress toward ending conflict in Gaza. Or Ukraine. Or replacing tariffs with significant trade agreements. Or reducing the national debt. Or any other campaign promises. This is a pleasant diversion and not much more.
AmenI reckon I am having a midday flareup of my TDS, but I tell you what, man, after Trump is no longer in office, I swear to all that is holy I am never, ever going to take for granted ever again a president – Republican or Democrat, I don’t care – who doesn’t tweet dramatic play-by-plays about military operations, troop movements, diplomatic negotiations, and trade conversations like a mentally ill teenager begging for validation and attention. It’s so unbelievably unbecoming and embarrassing for this great country of ours.
I mean that's a great thought, assuming he ever leaves.I reckon I am having a midday flareup of my TDS, but I tell you what, man, after Trump is no longer in office, I swear to all that is holy I am never, ever going to take for granted ever again a president – Republican or Democrat, I don’t care – who doesn’t tweet dramatic play-by-plays about military operations, troop movements, diplomatic negotiations, and trade conversations like a mentally ill teenager begging for validation and attention. You mean like every president ever.I reckon I am having a midday flareup of my TDS, but I tell you what, man, after Trump is no longer in office, I swear to all that is holy I am never, ever going to take for granted ever again a president – Republican or Democrat, I don’t care – who doesn’t tweet dramatic play-by-plays about military operations, troop movements, diplomatic negotiations, and trade conversations like a mentally ill teenager begging for validation and attention. Hey, absolute worst case scenario he’s got to leave in a pinewood box at some point, right?I mean that's a great thought, assuming he ever leaves.
It's more. You just don't want it to be more because you would rather the world lose than trump be right.A temporary ceasefire between Israel and Iran firing missiles at each other is not peace or an end to conflict. I know you’re not addressing me but I do feel like this is a perfect opportunity for me to state for the record that I would crawl across broken glass and then walk through hellfire in gasoline soaked skivvies for Trump to be right and for there to finally be peace in the Middle East. It's more. You just don't want it to be more because you would rather the world lose than trump be right.
Pretty sure I need to get my glasses checked - I read that as "Monroeville," and was like, "where Romero shot the original Dawn of the Dead? Ohhhh...that's quite an original and clever reference & metaphor!""Once again, the secret to Trump's political genius is that he basically understands the world like an average low-information voter."
Not being facetious or snarky here, but I think this illuminates Paine's program of meeting people where they are. The problem is what do you do as a democrat when where a shit ton of people are is Moronville...
Hey, absolute worst case scenario he’s got to leave in a pinewood box at some point, right?
Its pretty easy to spot when he becomes unglued, and I don't think the F word by itself was it. I kinda think his victories are so rare, that when he goes to bed thinking he has a victory (that's all his, that he can brag about) only to wake up the next morning and finds that things are not so simple.........that he loses it.Using the F word on live TV Guy is becoming unglued..........
Not sure the gasoline is doing any work in that hypothetical. It's probably equally uncomfortable gas or no gas. So save yourself the $2.98 or whatever it goes for near you.I know you’re not addressing me but I do feel like this is a perfect opportunity for me to state for the record that I would crawl across broken glass and then walk through hellfire in gasoline soaked skivvies for Trump to be right and for there to finally be peace in the Middle East.
