After all these years, what if the "pee tapes" weren't pee tapes but just footage from Epstein Island that Putin obtained one way or another? Apparently Trump was not the only celebrity who wrote a bawdy letter to Epstein on his 50th. Talk about Kompromat. . .
And there has been speculation about whether Epstein was Mossad or KGB, etc. -- but what about Ghislaine Maxwell? People used to see her as something of a dupe, but what if she was actually the brains behind the operation? It would explain how the mediocre Epstein was able to build that empire. Sort of a DC sniper situation.
Remember that Ghislaine grew up rich. Rich, like she lived in a 53 room mansion. There is of course a long history of rich heirs/heiresses becoming disillusioned with their inherited privilege and aligning with revolutionary causes. Weatherman, Patty Hearst, Jane Fonda, many others. It was even more pronounced in Britain. So she could very well have been recruited by the KGB, perhaps before the Soviet Union fell apart. Not necessarily as an agent per se, but as an asset.
There are other bio details that suggest something like this. Her dad was actually Czech and fought against the Nazis in WWII (I only found this out a couple of days ago). He was also found dead under odd circumstances -- namely, floating in the Atlantic. It was deemed a suicide, throwing himself off his yacht. Yachts have windows, you know. In 1991, defenestration might have been more associated with suicides than the KGB, right? But now subsequent events . .
She also married a guy (in 2016) who was a fellow on the Council for Foreign Relations. Surely a coincidence that a buzzy socialite involved in sex parties would end up with a guy plugged into the foreign policy/intelligence community.
The probability that I have devised a novel conspiracy theory about Trump/Epstein/Maxwell seems miniscule to me, so I'm assuming there are additional substantiations out there in the ether that I don't care to research. But this has the merits of being not particularly conspiratorial (it only requires one or possibly two people to secretly be involved in the plot) and a particularly salient if it's true that Maxwell was collecting birthday letters for Epstein. Epstein might have been a useful idiot par excellence.
