From a former school teacher colleague of mine (and my wife's) who is from Germany. He taught German and Latin in our foreign language dept in our local High School here in NC. He and his wife have retired, and moved back to Germany:
"(My wife) is studying to become a German citizen (dual). Trump seems to be the model for politics in Germany, too; that is: Elon is openly promoting and financing the right wing AFD. In the upcoming election, they might become the biggest party (though without majority!). But they're also talking about deporting all foreigners. The world is just not the same anymore!"
Elon reminds me of Dr. Evil on Austin Powers.
