I'm a little skeptical that Evans moved to the point over the last 14 games. His assists per game over that stretch was 3.2, which was 0.1 higher than his season average. However, Nique Clifford's assists per game over that stretch was 4.9, which was 0.5 higher than his season average. Still...

In 5 games against Power 5 conference teams (SEC, Big Ten, Big 12), he shot just .395 from the field, .250 from 3, and averaged just 2.4 assists. Those games mostly came early in the season, and he did get better as this past season went on...but the competition also was generally less stiff.

His defensive rating was 104.1, but CSU's defensive rating was pretty good at 100.5. So doesn't appear to be a plus defender. 0.8 steals is quite low for a combo guard playing 28.1 mpg.

He doesn't excite me. Absolutely stunk from 3 this year, which is unacceptable for someone with that high of volume. Just a career 42% shooter from 2-point range also. Looks like a below-average defender too, since in both of his years, his team's defensive efficiency is worse with him on...

Stahl was actually a highly-ranked prospect. He was a Parade All-American in 1971. Joe Wolf was actually a first-team Parade All-American and is still considered by some to be the greatest high school player ever in Wisconsin.

I'm not sure if this is even a solid single...maybe more of a walk. .378 overall FG percentage, not a creator, not much of a rebounder, and his defensive rating was the worst on the WVa team this year.
