My dear ole dad wrote a book called The Poorest of the 13-focusing on th Revolutionary War in NC . I guess it had a chapter on Kings Mountain because last time he went to the Park there they had a copy of his book for sale still Dad's career had nothing to do with History, scholary work etc...
