    Politics Biden catch-all | Post-Presidency Investigations

I decided at an early age that killing random homeless people is wrong. Maybe I should reconsider?

Politics War on Universities, Lawyers & Expertise

Sure, I'm not saying universities only educate students, but if educating students isn't the "fundamental reason for the existence of universities", then I have been horribly misinformed by the world!

Yes. Students pay money for the service of being educated. It certainly seems to be. Furthering knowledge still sounds like education for money to me. Increasing the body of knowledge and "trained" also sounds like a type of education, but what do I know?

Off-Topic Why do we cater to the idea of a soul?

At the very least, if there IS an "god" being, it's not of those that are the result of man's imagination. No Zeus. No Yahweh. No Poseidon. The Big Bang makes sense until you consider that the speed at which the universe is expanding is increasing....

Off-Topic Why do we cater to the idea of a soul?

. I don't think such a study is possible. That's the great debate about consciousness: is it the result of brain functionality or is the brain just a gateway to experiencing consciousness that is always present.

The sad case of Imane Khelif

Yes. I think public universities/schools have different expectations and requirements than private.

The sad case of Imane Khelif

Correct. The situation will resolve itself naturally. As was the case with schools that permitted blatant anti-Semitism on campus, you may see boosters pulling money from schools that allow males to compete in female sports. You may also see public protests and or forfeiting of games. You might...

The sad case of Imane Khelif

There's two sides to my view on this topic. 1. Across the board, it is unfair for males to compete against a females and I hope that steps would be taken, whether public or private, to address that issue. 2. I want the government (s) to step in and address the issue at public schools and...

The sad case of Imane Khelif

I don't know what's weird about working to ensure some level of competitive fairness in public schools/universities, but ok. EDIT: Why does Title IX exist? Fairness, right? If there was a single governing body over the NBA and WNBA, would you support the government forcing that organization...

The sad case of Imane Khelif

It's really not. Do you have an issue with middle/high school and college athletics having men's and women's sports? Have you ever been confused as to why they do that and why there are, for example, different weight classes in middle/high school wrestling? Have you ever watch a WNBA and NBA...

The sad case of Imane Khelif

I think it's a standard, but I think there needs to be a method for reviewing individual situations. I don't expect this to be resolved any time soon.
