That was my first thought. Georgia isn't as reliably red as neighbors like Alabama, Tennessee, or Florida anymore, and Ossoff has been pretty popular as a senator there. If the economy continues to sink and Trump's approval ratings remain low then even Kemp might have a hard time winning that seat. Just easier to wait and make a run for the GOP presidential nomination in 2028 (or maybe the veep slot) or challenge Warnock in 2028.

Erick Erickson (who was at a Sea Island conference with Kemp) says he doesn't want to be a Senator and would rather work in the private sector, i.e. make $$$$.

I know y'all don't listen to Erickson so let me Ericksplain for you.

Erickson, while now generally a supporter of Trump, does not hesitate to criticize the President when he disagrees with him. Thus, Erickson gets hate from both sides. Plus, he clearly repeatedly states that "Trump is not his cup of tea."

He rejects being a "Never Trumper" since that would align him with the Democrats - an unthinkable position for him.

Imagine waking up every single morning, logging on to this site and do nothing but piss and moan about Trump and the GOP.

Rent free for 10 years.

Twice impeached, judicial warfare against him and the left is so inept and useless they couldn’t beat him.

And with the lack of leadership and cast of crazies in front of the camera these days you will not win the midterms.

Keep trotting out Bernie, AOC, Crocket, Omar and Goldman. Please.
