Man, I guess. But I was starting to look at them as a budding OKC of the East, a couple years behind their schedule. This doesn’t do much for that view of things.

As a Warriors fan, last summer I wanted them to go after Markkanen with a Kuminga based package, and didn’t want Giannis because I think his constant calf issues are bad news.

But now with Jimmy’s knee and the Kuminga saga it’s all blown up on us and it’d be a miracle to land Giannis.

Duncan Goodhew, a British Olympic swimmer who swam at ncsulol, likely had the same condition. No hair. No eyebrows. No eyelashes.

He won the Olympic gold in the 100m breaststroke in 1980 after finishing 7th in 1976.

I swam in a few meets with him (closest I ever was to him was on the starting blocks; well, I kicked his ass on the opening two legs of the 200 IM; he went by like a blur in the breaststroke leg).

He told a story that as a kid he’d fallen out of a tree as a kid and concussed himself. After being hospitalized, all his hair fell out. And, never grew back. And, when he hit puberty, no hair grew.

I think he’d grown tired of saying, “No, I didn’t shave for this meet.” He told an outlandish story he knew other swimmers would spread.

Dude never had to shave or wear a swim cap.
