but it was a pretty well known secret all along that he was going to the highest bidder despite his affinity for UNC. state was considered to be strong with him for a while which was of course all $$$$. kid was in the same class as dennis smith junior who we know got paid to go to state.

as soon as kentucky / world wide we$ got involved, it was good night irene.

But it was against the rules to pay players then. I'm sure that didn't happen.

We played him and Kentucky twice that year. He had 13 points and 7 rebounds each time.

I was giving peacock some time to work out kinks but their on-air staff just plain sucks. Austin Rivers is a total douche (shocker), Scalabrine is a goof, Evan Turner has no personality and sounds like he’s on helium… every joker they roll out is worse than the last.
 
Warriors cursed season continues. Moses Moody just blew his knee bad.
Ripped Flagg around half court in the final minute of OT and went down to seal the game and dunk all alone, and just planted wrong. Crumpled. Stretcher.

Didn’t realize Rivers was no longer playing. I hadn’t heard about him in a long time but figured he was sitting at the end of a bench somewhere. What a bust considering the size of his ego.
 
That looks like my knee after the kneecap shattered. Mine was from hitting the ground having slipped, so the kneecap was pushed up but the big hole wasn't there. His must have been from torsion or some other internal stress, which probably caused the kneecap to travel even further up the knee.

Fortunately, the damage from a broken kneecap is less than one might think. I had surgery and then I was in a boot for 12 weeks and then rehab, and I wasn't getting NBA player level treatment. I'd imagine it looks worse than it is, compared to injuries like ACL or Achilles. But then again, I have never been to medical school.
 
i dislocated my kneecap (broken fibula and bad high ankle sprain too) during a HS soccer match and it looked similarly grotesque. my whole right leg kinda collapsed.

but my kneecap went toward the right, not up.
