I kind of think the Hornets match up better with the Pistons than the Celtics
Yeah, people seem to think that but I don’t know one way or the other. Charlotte and Detroit met three times in the regular season. Detroit won all three games by margins of 26, 6, and 18. The last game was the first time the Hornets played the Pistons with their full current roster available. I was at that game, and the Pistons’ defense was impressive. They were extremely physical and that seemed to get in the Hornets’ heads. The refs did seem to let the Pistons get away with a lot, and I imagine they will in the playoffs as well.

The Hornets and Celtics met three times in the regular season. The Hornets won the first matchup (@ Boston) by 29 points. But Tatum had not yet returned at that point. The Hornets were without Grant Williams in that game. Tatum came back for the next game which was in Charlotte, and the Celtics won by 15. Jaylen Brown missed that game. Grant Williams again missed that game for Charlotte. Boston won the last matchup (@ Boston) by 11 points. Hornets did not have Coby White for that game. Hornets led by 11 after the first quarter and 6 at the half. Boston took the lead in the 3rd and finished the 3rd up 3.

Intense game to start. You can tell it’s a one win to get in for both these teams. Glad it’s at home for the Hornets!

Really dirty play by Ball. So disappointing. It’s been all him and Bridges keeping the Hornets in the game. Fouls on Miller were brutal. We’ll see how the second half goes.

Refs missed a couple things there. Missed Bam stepping out of bounds on that save which led to a Miami score. Then the refs totally sucked in the last minute.

Wow Ball just swept Bam’s leg out from under him and now he’s in the locker room with a back issue.

Dirtbag move.
that isn't how I saw it. Melo was bumped by the other defender into Bam, and he fell (should have been a foul). Bam started to fall, but caught himself to hold on to the ball a half second extra. Bam had already started falling (i.e. foot off floor) when Lamelo's hand hit him, so he wasn't trying to trip him. I think what happened is it caused Bam to overrotate in the air and hit his tailbone

You need to represent Grayson Allen.

I didn’t think it was egregious either.
