2026 ACC Men’s Basketball Tournament

There is no interest on the part of the ACC top force its best teams to play 4 games in 4 days to win the title.
But the top four teams wouldn't have to win four games in four days. Have the Les Robinson invitational, and then plug the 2 winners in the current slots for the 15th seed and the missing 16th seed.

So with this win over Pitt ( was it a "good" win ? ) does ncst get in with a 20-13 record if they lose ( a bad loss ? ) to UVA ?

If Scheyer isn't COY how does one land at Jai Lucas over Ryan Odom?

Miami had one of the easier conference schedules and finished 2 games back from UVA

Didn't play duke, no CA road trip, 0-2 vs Clemson and Louisville. I'm not sure they beat UNC if Caleb doesn't get hurt
Great points.

They are going to benefit from the bubble being one of the weakest in recent memory this year. They better thank their lucky stars that they got to play and beat UNC without our two best players because that's probably the single result that is definitively putting them in the field. Otherwise their best "other" wins are against a mediocre Clemson team that is limping in to the tournament, and an SMU team that itself is firmly on the bubble.

I hope Virginia drags them up and down the court tomorrow, though I suspect it'll be a close game. March tournament games usually are.

More than likely, yes.
I keep forgetting wins and losses don't really matter. It's how you win or lose that matters. So if ncst loses 7 out of its last 9 games and finishes with a mediocre 20-13 record , they are in because they have good metrics, I guess ?

I agree about your last paragraph Ford. But trying telling that to Bobby Hurley right now. Arizona State lost to Iowa State by almost 50 today.

Out of curiosity, where would you seed Miami (OH) for the NCAAT?
