It is funny how we are all so negative about our own routes.

I don't love our bracket... And actually because because of 8,9,4 and 5. I think we have the toughest second round and if we play Kansas they are so hit or miss with Mr will he won't he. St John's is good ... But I think the big East was so bad.

If we were fully healthy I would feel very good. But you never know

I have to say baby boozer seems to have covered the PG well
Now missing the Big guy is important in a negative way-but Big boozer now has more space?

I remember the TV broadcast (might have been the electricity) going out during the State-Marquette game in the Finals.

Dad and I went into the garage and turned on a car to access the radio.

We were cheering for State to win.

Granted, we’d moved to North Carolina in 1967.

I was a UNC fan but I would pull for State in the early 80’s. Even got Valvano’s autograph.
But as I got a little older ‘86 and on my hate for all things not UNC was set in stone.

They are the #1 overall seed and have arguably the toughest 8/9 and 4/5 matchups

UCONN and Mich St are strong, even if UCONN isn’t up to par with their more recent teams

Arizona/Michigan have easier paths imo

Ive been critical, but no way.

Obviously Big V dominates, but High will look way better against VCU. I also believe that Luka and Evans will look different against these athletes.

Speaking if athletes, I assume Seth and Jarin(along with Henri) will be the most dominant athletes on the floor.

VCU is as athletic as most ACC teams including UNC. They are also smaller than probably every ACC team. Even their big guy Djokovic likes to roam the perimeter.

I've got some good friends in Tucson that I met in Guatemala. One of them owns a bar (///che's lounge\\\). I almost moved to Tucson because I came very close to doing some PostDoc work at U of A. I was visiting some years ago and went into the Men's Room and at the urinal...right at eye level were written the words "Duke Sux." I looked and the same was written at all of the urinals. I like that about the U of A. And my friends there.

I am no expert-but I have watched them and some other mid majors
They have some fast-in some cases strong and fast players
The way teams like that win against us is with steals and three pointers. It is very much a mental prepartion task for us. Especially our guards.

UNC has done a pretty good job of not turning it over a bunch, with a few exceptions

This may have been addressed but
The last time dook and Carolina both played in Greenville pods for the first and second rounds, those games turned out splendidly for us [both our advancing to Sweet 16 and dook crapping out against South Carolina]. In fact, the anti-dook crowd was such that the Rat apparently requested dook and Carolina never be put in the same first/second round location again.

And until now, we have not been. Here's hoping history repeats itself.
