Anyone else find it cringy when golf fans chant U-S-A, U-S-A during a normal tour event when an American , like Scottie, is battling a non-American like Fitzy?

Seems a bit weird to me.

It was awful. I love Scottie but I was pulling hard for Fitz at the end there. Loved the hand to his ear at the end.

Yes. I do think golf tournaments could be a little more rollicking but doesn't mean they have to be decks to the opponents. But that is a difficult balance to strike.

Pulling for Scottie as well but I cheered like crazy when Fitzpatrick hit the 4 iron 5 feet from the hole on 18. I don’t like Ryder Cup type crowds outside the Ryder Cup.
