And it's also nothing but the usual MAGA projection, as there have already been examples of paid right-wingers getting caught trying to stir up trouble in Minnesota and elsewhere. If Republicans are accusing Democrats and liberals of doing something, you can be damn sure they're already doing it themselves or planning to.
it's usually a safe assumption that men's sports coaches at the NCAA and pro levels are MAGA - the ones who aren't are usually pretty outspoken about it.
Most hoops, football, and baseball coaches are white males. It’s not a leap to assume a white male is MAGA, unless you’re at a major research university or liberal arts college at a Faculty meeting. Or, at a Friends Meeting.
It’s not just the fact that they’re white males.
Most NBA and college basketball coaches skew heavily democratic. There are exceptions, like Coach K, Bob Knight, Bruce Pearl, Huggy Bear, and I'd imagine also Nate Oates, the Hurleys, Doherty, -- basically any unhealthy, uptight coach -- but the vast, vast majority are going to be liberal.
Coach K seems way more like a McCain Republican to me at least.
I think that's a good description of him. Military conservative. Not MAGA. He does not like Trump, at all.
