WHAT IS THE 155 MM?​

Essentially, the 155 mm round is a very big bullet, made up of four parts: the detonating fuse, projectile, propellant and primer.

Each round is about 2 feet (60 centimeters) long, weighs about 100 pounds (45 kilograms), and is 155 mm, or 6.1 inches, in diameter. They are used in howitzer systems, which are towed large guns that are identified by the range of the angle of fire that their barrels can be set to.

I know this is only tangentially related to a fox newsman, but I was looking through an old thread and the google news feed hoping for an update on your story, and I couldn't find anything.

What went wrong in your life to bring you to this point? A lot of things have gone wrong for me, and I've been forthright about that. I don't lie, and that wasn't a lie. I don't know how many times it has to be pointed out to you (and others) that your ignorance doesn't affect the world. Just because you don't know something doesn't mean it's true. Just because you can't see something doesn't mean it didn't happen. You're so insanely envious of me, precisely because people do take me seriously and basically hate you. That, of course, is a conscious decision you make.

It is your fault, and nobody else's, that you are a walking Cliff Clavin. You could do better. You choose not to. I have never seen anyone ask for your opinion on anything (except in the "do you have any comment on this thing that contradicted you" sense), because instead of learning, instead of posting helpfully, you do what you do.

Can you give us an update on the Trump supporters riding around in their trucks with shotguns that closed your kid's school and necessitated a police presence? Maybe you can link the article you found in the local news. To remind you, here is the email you mentioned that the school sent:

"School emailed to say the men have been arrested. It appears to have been only the one truck roaming around everywhere, though school says there might be another so there will police stationed there the rest of the week."

Nevermind, going through the thread, I see you changed that even though you earlier mentioned there was a news article that no one else has seen and an email from the school. Easy mistake to make. The real story is a bully that actually attended the school that caused a trans kid to commit suicide. Whatever happened with that? I couldn't find anything in the news and the mention of the lying fox news commentator who was acting unintelligently, uninformedly, or unethically jogged my memory a little bit.

What I could never understand is why a fan of GaTech Yellowjackets found their way to the Inside Carolina message boards and started posting there, time and again. Why not go to the 247 Tech Yellowjacket message boards? The Hive archive or the Water Cooler... to name a couple... Why IC and not GOJACKETS ?

And now he's followed us over to this board. Now, I can see why we have some duke folk here... that's totally understandable given the circumstances of them offering us refuge as immigrants when IC ZZLP dissolved... and Rock officially inviting them here.

I believe he went to grad school at UNC and found IC through that experience. He’s been on the ZZL for years and probably sticks around for the same reason most of us do, it’s good board with a ton of really smart people with a broad range of expertise (unless you need a lawyer….for some reason we’ve never been able to attract many attorneys here!)

This is right plus I live in the area. I enjoy it here for the most part. I get the current events and I can chat about them with people. Some folks on the board aren't my favorite, I'm sure some on here feel similarly, but overall pretty good.

Apparently Israel had the first fully automatic 155mm Howitzer in June of last year, which means that there are probably many semi-auto to fully manual versions in use.
