I cannot think of a worse indictment on the state of this program at present than to be getting out-hustled, out-give-a-damned, out-hearted, and out-everything’d by a team that has no reason to even be trying to do so. Duke is the one treating this game like their season is on the line and we are the ones playing like we will be the top overall seed in the NCAAT and the national title favorite. Humiliating. Embarrassing. Unacceptable.

Cadeau shows again and again and again how low IQ a player he is.

Jackson and Powell soiled their pants sometime shortly after tip.

Washington got bullied on the court and by the refs and looks like a sad puppy now.

Withers and RJ no-shows.

Lubin and Trimble the only two showing much fight, and unfortunately neither of them can hit a 3 to save their lives.

Pretty much worst case scenario. It’s always been a bad matchup with their skilled size at every position, but I can’t blame the committee for bouncing them if this doesn't change dramatically.
 
The questionable calls really seemed to take them out of any sort of rhythm they had. Cadeau gets called for ticky tacky fouls that others get away with because he commits 17 ticky tacky fouls every game. So fucking frustrating.

duke has solid, balanced depth. The focus on Flagg hides that to a large extent. All credit to Scheyer, I think he’s managed the bench better than krzyzewski did in his last 15-20 years. Instead of hoarding talent he’s applying it. I still think they’d be just the 2-4 seed in the SEC, but this year, that’s a legitimate compliment.
