Adolescence

Watched; really a strong series. Good acting and well-written script. I don't really think all the effort at making it look like one roaming camera shot was needed, and it was awkward at times. It fit better and worked way better in films like Rope and 1917. The problem here was at times I wanted to see an actor clearly in an important dialogue moment and the camera is floating elsewhere (impressively, but...). Minor complaint.
 
Mass is fantastic. Felt more like a play though, and probably would’ve done a lot better onstage.
Yes, I could see it on a very small stage, small theater setting, but not anything bigger. The strongest asset of the film is the acting, and studying their faces as they deal with agony and recriminations.
