We have 20k murders per year in our country. Why is this the one that has created such outrage from the right?

Brown was already facing a first-degree murder charge from state authorities for the deadly attack on Iryna Zarutska, who was stabbed in the neck on Aug. 22 while aboard a commuter light rail in Charlotte, N.C.

… The federal charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison or death. Attorney General Pamela Bondi said on Tuesday: “We will seek the maximum penalty for this unforgivable act of violence—he will never again see the light of day as a free man.”

… “This monster should have been locked up and Iryna should still be alive but Democrat politicians, liberal judges and weak prosecutors would rather virtue signal than lock up criminals and protect their communities,” Leavitt told reporters….”

It sure would be nice if republicans gave two craps about the Ukrainian women IN UKRAINE who have been tortured, raped, killed, and had their children stolen from them by Russians. While we're at it, let's have some compassion for women of color who are killed by whites, pubs.

Or the refugees here whose TPS status was not extended by the Trump Administration.

Roughly 250,000 Ukrainians came to the U.S. under the program, but those who arrived before Aug. 16, 2023, are covered by a separate protection program.…”

Ukrainian man is 3rd to die in ICE custody at Krome Detention Center [in Miami]​



“… A Ukrainian woman says she finds herself alone in the United States after her husband fell ill and died in the custody of U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement (ICE) in west Miami-Dade County.

The wife of 44-year-old Maksym Chernyak, who spoke to NBC6 on condition of anonymity, claims her husband did not suffer from any pre-existing medical condition. She alleges that he was not properly cared for at the Krome Detention Center when he started to feel sick.

Chernyak died on Feb. 20 at HCA Kendall Hospital in Miami while in ICE custody, according to the agency's website, which also notes that he was vomiting and having seizures. A doctor determined that the preliminary cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage.…”
