I liked when Hogg cited that he wasn't doing anything that other vice chairpersons of the DNC hadn't done before and Carville replied "I don't know what other vice chair's have done, I never gave a shit who the vice chair was, but hey, at least you've elevated the position"...

Having been active in political campaigns, I was always surprised at how much importance people put into who was on the precinct committee, county committee, district committee, state committee, and national committee.

You might have 1-2 people at the precinct level countywide who mattered. Maybe 1-2 people at the county level who mattered.

I’ve sat through many county, district, and state conventions watching people fight to be elected to meaningless positions.

National party chair in 2025 is close to meaningless.

Vice chair? Who gives an eff.
