In normal times all of this would be simply be clear evidence of a Democratic sweep - the "blue wave" - in this year's elections. It's not the first time that polls have shown the party in power rapidly losing support and facing a rough - perhaps very rough - election cycle.

The problem, of course, is that we're not living in normal times, and Trump's minions can read the polls too. And as we get closer to the November there's a very good chance that panic will set in among Trump 2.0 and MAGA World in general about what will happen to them and their movement if the Democrats sweep the November elections, and they are capable of doing anything to prevent such a nightmare for them.
