Was there any doubt it bypassed the normal process? Trump bypassed the normal process at least a dozen times. I don't recall whether Obama did, but W commuted Scooter Libby outside the normal process. I don't remember exactly about Marc Rich, but I think he was pardoned outside the process.

The argument you are making is that two wrongs make it right. First your reading comprehension sucks. I said nothing about justifying Hunter Biden's pardon. I don't believe I've said anything about it on this board, but prior to this I was against it and I still think it's wrong, but I certainly understand it given Trump's clearly stated goals. That said, my post was about how you lose your shit over this pardon and spew for days and days of posts about it and when Trump does one of the multitude of clearly more horrible things than this you shrug and offer a sentence of "well I don't support that" and then vote for him anyway. If you gave one tenth of the effort decrying Trump's terrible actions as you have on HUNTER Biden then this board would only have posts from you on the first several dozen pages. That’s all they have. They want to score points for Trump for what they hope will happen in the future. Like when Trump claimed Xi promised to buy additional soybeans from the US after Trump’s first stupid round of trade wars.
