Hubert is not the coach for Carolina. The offense has always been awful and depending too much on one on one play. The man defense with switching everything is lazy defense. He doesn't make any adjustments to either, and seems to never have a gameplan to counter the specific opponent they are playing. It's always the same offense and defense with no in-game adjustments at all. It's just relying on his players having better talent and/or just having a better game than the opponent. His coaching and preparation does nothing to help give Carolina an edge and a better chance to win games. He has been out-coached time and time again by other coaches who actually have gameplans and adjustments based on playing Carolina. The longer he is there the more mediocre the program will get and the longer it will take to get the program back to being one of the elite teams most seasons.

The second injury likely took the air out of a lot of players sails, fully aware of how much it lowers the team’s ceiling.

Veesaar seems to be an exception to that, understandably.
