That’s the problem. He’s got skills but absolutely zero confidence in his shot or his handle. He’s always on his heels just looking to get rid of the ball. His face says it all, so unbelievably timid.

Can’t yank him and start Dixon just on the basis of that finish though. You’d risk ruining him. I’d start phasing down his minutes for Dixon however. See what happens in the next stretch of games. If necessary, make a move by E. Tenn or OSU.

Maybe run Dixon and Evans together some ala Berry and Paige. Give Evans a chance to be off ball and focused on shooting.

I agree he looks incredibly hesitant and unsure in every aspect at the moment.

That’s a good Kentucky team that will win a lot of games. Kinda like Michigan State and hopefully UNC also but it’s all so early and expectations are so high? I’m thinking that we all need to take a beat and remember how fortunate we are to be Tar Heels! This team will be frustrating but they are all ours!
