Tanner was brought in independently of Hubert, so he wouldn't necessarily be out if HD is out.

A lot would probably depend on if the next coach already has a GM they'd like to bring with them or not.

The comeback shows that when the players give effort, they can play well. For those saying that Coach Davis doesn't make adjustments, the adjustments he made in the comeback were effective.

The defense gave up 84 points to Cal. After not giving up more than 74 points in the first 14 games of the season, this is the fourth consecutive game they've given up 84 or more.

The problem isn't coaching or offense or switching, it's lack of effort on defense. In the last 8-12 minutes, we saw what Carolina can do.

The problem is coaching. Hubert is a nice guy but no one has done less with more. This isn’t Carolina basketball.

The blame tilted a lot more toward the players when they started getting paid.

We can discuss this without you making stuff up, or I can excuse myself. There are things that I think Coach Davis could do differently, but i'm not at practice every day. I don't see how the players perform in practice or what their attitudes are. I don't know what the coaches are trying to do in practice or in the games. I do know that they know more about it than anybody on this board. They aren't perfect, but in the end, it comes down to the players giving enough effort and executing what they've been taught. It's obvious that the players are not giving enough effort and not executing correctly. They did pretty well the first 14 games. I'm not gonna panic because the FT shooting is poor and the defense has been terrible for 3 1/2 games.
