Biorhythms for UNC @ Miami: 7 PM Start

Well, at least they had a great win against dook and we had 2 days to enjoy it. Probably the biggest win they will have this season

People talk about the post-Duke hangover, but going back to K’s tenure at Duke, this is only the second time the Heels have lost the game following a win over a ranked Duke team in the first matchup vs. Duke. The previous time was 2024.

Never felt good about this one. Before, during, or after.

Not a shocking loss but a disappointing one.

How many times have we won the first game against Duke?

I take it back about Jai lucas coaching circles around Hubert- they looked like they’d never seen a press
Still a pathetic effort
More effort than coaching, imo. I hope there's not a virus going around. I've never seen Trimble that sluggish on the court or Wilson, either. I can't believe how long we had a chance with the line ups we ended up playing.

I’ve grown used to Carolina having look-ahead or hangover losses around the midseason dook game but still frustrating. Miami played hard but not great. We were running at less than 50%.

Bench actually delivered, though.

biggest concern is Caleb’s health — he looked gassed from the tip and then the wrist injury

Unfortunately the timing would be bad or I’d suggest a moment of satire with Hubert walking into the postgame PC with a bandage on his head.
If Hubert went into post game with a big bandage on his ear it would almost make it worth it.

I mean, not really, but I would laugh.

I think it was both, but more so on the effort. Normal effort wins that game by 15 despite the issues I had with our preparation/coaching. My wife works in student health- flu everywhere right now (she tells me as the game is ending)

And if Wilson did have the flu, which I suspected right away, props to him for gutting it out and not pulling a Peterson.
