Washington is in a platoon but i thought he’d been starting more recently, especially since he’s played 20+ minutes every game sans foul trouble since Thanksgiving

Fair about State, just bitter about last nights “effort”

Well, no. The 93 team was a much better team and I believe ,at full strength. Comparing that result to a team that lost 40% of its rebounding and scoring is apples and oranges.
 
If Wilson and Vessar are done so is the season

state isn't better than a healthy UNC squad, not sure Vandy is either.

Vandy is about 20 spots higher than us in kenpom and torvik (before last night) and i shudder thinking what their guards would do to us right now

Cadeau - Likely a lack of fit within the program/offensive system, plus a perceived rift with the HC. Also, probably lose Trimble if retain Cadeau.

Lubin - A combination of role and NIL. It was obvious that even after last season we didn't see him as a starter/priority inside after recruiting Wilson, Veesaar, & Stevenson. He had agreed to return, but changed his mind after State came calling with better NIL and role.

Nickel - Viewed by the program as a developmental piece who could earn time further down the road, left to pursue more immediate playing time. I would guess got more immediate raise in NIL commensurate with greater role at new school.

Washington - Much like Lubin, it was pretty clear the staff didn't view him as a starter/priority player going forward (was probably even behind Lubin on the depth chart) and left for a place where he'd have a better fit and role.

All of those players were much maligned by the fan base. No idea about Lubin, Nickel, or Washington but it was a fact that Mama Cadeau was a social media gadfly and I have no doubt that she literally archived the slights thrown at her son. How much difference that made to any of these young men we'll never know of course...or we're likely not to know.

Cadeau- is a much better fit than who have now at PG. His FG% and assist/game was much higher than who we have today. Why would Trimble leave ? He would be paired in the backcourt with Cadeau

Lubin- has better stats than Stevenson both scoring and rebounding and could play Center and PF off the bench

Nickel-viewed as a developmental piece but so what ? It would be nice to have an experienced senior averaging 15 pts/game, shooting 44% from the 3 point line and 82% as a SF/SG, no ?

Washington - has better stats than Stevenson both scoring and rebounding and could play Center and PF off the bench

Give me an experienced and proven Cadeau at PG rather than what we have today
Let me thank the lord Trimble returned as a senior and experienced SG and team leader
Give me a Senior and experienced Nickel shooting lights out at SF
Give me experienced Lubin and Washington spelling ( replacing now ? ) Caleb and Henri under the basket
And give me a decent backup combo transfer guard.

Even I could compete coaching that team for a Final Four/National Championship with that lineup :cool:

I never understood running off Cadeau without knowing they had someone better to take his place.
