The problem is that if NBA teams thinks he has an Achilles problem; that could bump him from a low first round to a mid second round or lower. To some extent, his draft position will be improved if he can show that the soreness is no big deal. If he shuts it down the rest of the year, I'd think that would raise a huge red flag for a team that would have a number of other comparable options without the red flag.If the Achilles is an issue, and needs real time to heal 100%, I would recommend he shut down so that he’s closer to 100% come draft time/workout sessions for possible NBA teams interested in drafting him.
