I just feel like the gameplan is always the same no matter who they play. They don't have the guards to play good defense if the other team has good guards. But it doesn't seem like there are any adjustments made. And the whole half court offense seems like it's just trying to win based on talent and one on one play instead of an offense that can get the best possible shot with the best possible chance at being open for everyone on the court.
 
Well, we won, and that's the best you can say. Given that Wake is simply not very good this year, we were playing at home, and were coming off a bad loss I thought we'd play better, especially on defense. I'm a Hubert supporter but this was not a good showing by him or his staff. We're 14-2, but as our toughest part of the schedule is still to come he and his staff are going to have to really turn it up a notch, plain and simple.
 
Harris is a really nice player, and Palmese had a career night and is quicker than any of our guards including Seth. If we don’t value the ball and don’t bring better defensive intensity, this will happen. We did show some defensive toughness down the stretch. Wake isn’t garbage.

I'm with @Geisterfahrer -- Wake is very good for a 10-7 team -- they played #2 Michigan and #14 Texas Tech to one-point losses. Schwieger played up to his level at previous schools -- not great but better than Beliew. Also, as I warned in the ritmo intro: "Leader Juke Harris has respectable arcs and is another in a loooong line of native-born North Carolinians to come in as opponents in the Dean E. Smith Center – this is always a dicey proposition often fueled by a perception of rejection by the flagship of their home state."
 
Halfway through the season and they are relying on Jaydon Young mins to win them a game

Hard to think they are going to get much more from Boga or Evans

This team’s ceiling feels considerably lower than I would have said a couple weeks ago
