Blue-White Game Biorhythms

Bogavac, Trimble, Stevenson, Brown, and High

vs

Evans, Wilson, Powell, Veesaar, and Young

To start

Leaving Holbrook, Smith, and Davis on the pine.

Dixon, Denis, and Matlekovic are out injured.

They’re going to be called for at least 2 unforced back-courts this season - the way Keyon drops it off to the big before he’s crossed half court

I watched the first half only. In the first half, I think Evans was the best player on the court -- at least the best guard. He played solid d, he can obviously shoot, and he made good decisions. He threw it out one time but that wasn't his fault; it was miscommunication with the cutter and I thought Evans made the right call. Otherwise, he was solid.

Caleb might be our quickest big man since 'Tawn.

I really didn't like what I saw from Luka. I still think he's likely to be good, but today was awful. Yes, he made a couple of threes in the first half -- but his defense was bad, his decision-making was bad, and his handle was bad. He died on screens, which surprises me. He didn't know the right pass to make on two occasions.

Stevenson? Not sure. Henri was as expected. Brown looked good. High -- well, he can shoot a little. Powell hit a nice jumpshot and then disappeared.

I remember leaving late night with Roy one year thinking that this Tyler Hansbrough kid is a bull in a china shop crazy man who will just foul out but this Danny Green kid is the real deal

Lol

I remember watching Tyler’s second game and the first on TV. He got an offensive rebound went up and drew a foul. While he was at the line Mike Gminsky offered his opinion that Tyler would shoot a lot of free throws. He said Tyler knew how to get into an opponent’s body and draw contact. He said the hardest player to guard he faced in the NBA was Moses Malone. He said Malone was great at drawing contact and that’s how you get to the line. Turned out Gminsky was right.

One of the things a young Jimmy Black would do in ‘79 and ‘80……pick up his dribble near mid court in the backcourt.

Yeah. I wish I could wipe my memory banks and watch every game Tyler played again afresh
