I always heard the good God fearing Protestants in N.C. considered Good Friday a “Catholic” holiday and wanted to distance themselves from any hint of Catholicism. The basketball game thing is likely window dressing to cover their bigotry.

I suspect that you’re right - and even the folks at NCPedia are part of the cover up.

Related to super ignore and the fact that it was developed for $100, regarding what we had discussed via PM, I made a post on the XF community saying would anyone have interest in building a custom thread sorting add-on and I got one quote which was $2000.
