This is a guy who, when he owned the Miss Teen USA Beauty Pageant back in the 90s, was known to walk through the girl's dressing rooms unannounced, and often (not coincidentally, I'm sure) when the girls were dressing. When one girl complained about a "surprise" visit Trump supposedly said something like "Don't worry ladies, I've seen it all before." At least four girls said that he did this at several different pageants, and he later bragged to people about dropping in on them while they were changing. But according to Trumpers he has never shown any interest in underage girls. Right. Just like his comments about his own daughter aren't creepy and a dead giveaway at all.

Well I sure as hell support his position on the border and what he has accomplished-listed.
I sure as hell support his influence on NATO, Iran, and the rest of the ME (although not so much on Ukraine)
I sure as hell support his rebuilding of the military
I sure as hell support the conservative judges he is appointing (most anyway)
I sure as hell support the defunding oh npr and pbs

simply cannot imagine having a single brain cell and celebrating taking money away from education and sesame street so ice can arrest a couple thousand more citizens and we can drop a few more bombs on countries that haven't done anything to us

The golden age is when things are worse economically than they absolutely should be but not yet terrible.
And by the way, that is what was predicted.
Stymied growth. Elevated interest rates. Sluggish markets. Economic uncertainty.
Every economic indicator would be better if Trump had just done nothing.

Defunding PBS.

Literally taking away public broadcasting which has been an absolute cornerstone of education for children in this country for 6+ decades. What on earth could be a positive about that?

The uneducated and insecure feel uneasy when they are confronted with people smarter than themselves. If they target education, the number of people they need to worry about slowly gets smaller and smaller.

I guess you can substitute ignorance for stupidity for a while. The current administration is trying to censor everything that they can so they may can prevent the sense of betrayal and disappointment the ignorant feel if they ever were to learn what the stupid and venal are covering up.

That’s simple. Ending the left’s grip on public education will mean less bureaucracy, less wasted education dollars, and a more efficient and effective education system. How much does the US spend per pupil compared to other countries? Where does the US rank? Why continue to fund failure and get subpar results?

Who has been behind every book banning, every fight to keep real science and real sex education out of school and pretty much every other act of censorship, repression and denial of free speech in the US? The left’s “grip” on public education is the direct result of the right’s decades long disinterest in/animosity to public education, which also contributes to reduced performance. Maybe if the right would give a shit about an educated populace things would change. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an earnest attempt from conservatives to improve education in this country. Every idea is a variation of defund it and/or put it in the hands of religious freaks or for-profit entities.

Republicans (that's you) are advocates for school choice programs, including vouchers that allow public funds to be used for private school tuition. (such as Christian Schools) Such programs divert resources from public schools, disproportionately benefit wealthier families and weaken the public education system.

The recent cuts by the Trump administration to the Dept. of Education will lead to reduced funding for essential programs, particularly affecting low-income students, students with disabilities, and civil rights protections. This will force states to eliminate essential programs such as Title I funding, Pell Grants, special education research, predatory oversight programs etc. this bullshit undermines and weakens the public education system.

You fuckers just want to place poor kids at a disadvantage, keep them poor and indoctrinate them in your Jesus cult.
